I had an MSI GeForce 6600 that came with my new computer, and it wouldn't work with Revit. Similarly it is conceivable to insert multiple queries per frame to get finer control over lag. If so, which drivers are you using? It appears that few cards are being tested to work with Revit, with some exceptions (ATI on their FireGL cards, both for AGP and PCI-E). http://wphomeguide.com/problems-with/problems-with-nvidia-geforce-fx-5500.php

we encounter that on our GF2mx400 powered (lols powered huh) p4 2.25Ghz PCs i guess that happens when you got old card with relatively new drivers? However, I dropped the desktop color depth down to "Medium (16 bit)" instead of "Highest (32 bit)" and found that many of my problems using OpenGL in Revit went away. What's up? Any hard disk accesses will surely kill your frame rate.
While I was finally able (using the correct drivers) to get get OpenGL working with the PNY 1400 Quadro, the card still seemed to have a lot of conflicts with Revit. There are several ways to do this: Eliminate all file accesses. There is no diallers showing in the start up. http://newwikipost.org/topic/nvatBAU9D2VjrecWYjhsVGjakmnaUgq8/New-graphics-card-New-Halo-Problem.html They run fine.

With OpenGL turned off shadows don't cause a crash they just take forever.
consumer cards. when i had my tnt 16 mb card in my 1.1 ghz celeron i had the same problems with need for speed high stakes. If you really like the look of anti-aliasing on all of your diagonal screen lines then you may want an expensive Quadro card. this page We hope that you will find it useful.
You may also... Let us know how it goes. Enabling opengl in Revit 8.1 & all hell let loose! With crashing, screen draw errors etc.
AT first i thought it might be the Game which is at fault , but later on after trying several methods of install / unintall, updating Drivers, rolling back to older Let it run at least overnight and then examine the error count.Let us know. I can deal with fuzzy. Coz my AGP card is quite old but the motherboard might still be under warranty so i can get it fixed.
it just wouldn't work in agp 8x... In addition, today's GPUs are optimized to handle mipmaps very efficiently, so the performance impact of using mipmaps is minimal. Reduce your GPU's core clock. Get More Info Now running much better.
