Unless you guys can suggest anything else that I might have overlooked, I'm going to RMA this thing immediately....as much as that is a pain in the ass. I had upgraded my VPU heatsink and cooler by a CoolerMaster Coolviva, with the no fan choice, since im not an overclocker and this setup should be more than enough. It does pretty well with Madden 2004 and Doom 3, so I know it's working ok, it's just Halflife that's not working well. He said he disconnected the new monitor, threw the old one back on(Dell CRT), and the lines were still there.What do you guys think?Also, when I go into Devices, it shows the probleme is back...

Ok... I installed the correct driver for the monitor and it did nothing new.I then figured that maybe the video driver needed updated to handle the monitor's specs. So I thought i?ve toasted the card. It doesn't even have an OS installed; the problems started coming up as soon as it posted, and were so bad I couldn't even read the BIOS screen.

You'd think if a graphics card can stand up to Doom 3, Halflife should be a piece of cake, right? I might try later and see if that's happening. Doing the 16/32 switch got my icons back to normal, but the distortion problem is still present.
