Reconnect it all and see if that fixes the issue.But it seems like you need to disconnect the CPU heatsink/fan and reapply thermal paste. you mean there might be a protective sheet covering the paste and I might have forgotten to remove it? A few things are possible: software issue, or a problem with the cpu cooler itself. Stand up for your right to repair. my review here
