It's a Dell PIII 800 which came new with the nVidia card. Truth be known... A few months back, while on the Net horizontal ghosting appeared all-of-a-sudden. I haven't had any problems with drivers since I switched to ATI, I don't even have to uninstall first, I don't even have to restart. Especially if the user expects to maintain full computer functionality.

I installed my ATI Radeon 64 mb DDR video card into my P3 900 HP Pre built system. suddenly i get the above message. Yet sad to know that I'd have to buy a new card for this piece of junk laying on the floor. Driver just GPF'ed halfway through the install.

I began to wonder whether it was the card after all when, a few weeks ago, I put my computer into a new gaming case. i ask cuz rage iic is fine in win9x (i'm not a gamer), but ati has no rage iic drivers for winxp. Maybe on a TNT2, you get grey lines. Thank you for choosing Dell. Looks like they didn't respond to problems either. p4dc6+ must use dc6pxxx.bin file, if you use the regular dc6 bios it still works but will have infinite loop problem in win2k and xp.
one thing i have noticed is that i think some people in this thread are confusing one issue with the issue that i am referring to here.
