now i love clear sound and im kinda a audiophile so i love to hear awesome sound, whatever teh soudn card is its goign ot be paired up with the z-5500. They're not anything special and the inline volume adjuster definitely limits the volume, even when twisted to max. yeah right now its between creative x-fi titanium or the auzentech the reason for this is because the creative one is shorter in length since im not sure if the forte I might give that a shot.

The Maximus V Gene doesn't have a PCIe PLX chip to increase the lanes, and from what I've been able to gather IVB only has 16 PCIe 3.0 lanes. I'd be interested to know how the converters sound on the L22. can someone recommend me a good card? In any case, excellent for doing speaker and othere audio measurements.
