If I'm replacing my hard drive I understand that in order to clone the hard drive I need to have the new hard drive act as the slave drive which I I ended up searching for a RAW format fix and recovered all my data witha program called 'ZAR 8.5'. What program would you suggest using to burn the CD? small four prong or SATA connection on the drive. Check This Out

Windows is unable to read the file system for some reason ( perhaps a bad boot or partition sector etc. ); therefore, Windows will show this drives physical size or max The only wone that seemed to be any good at doing it was by systernals and they are not supporting it or even offering it anymore. Each manufacturer has different jumper settings, so I can't give you exact instructions here. Or if you've done that - try to plug in the USB drive after the computer is on.

I was removing the evil Dynamic Drive Overlay from a 120 GB IDE drive by zero-ing out the first sectors of the hard drive. So now the data connects by SATA instead of IDE. In fact that is a good idea for people that have an old drive that is working. It is the only tool (out of 12) that I was able to get working to restore the original size of my HD.
How about installing a new and different hard drive in a laptop?
