I was running SpinRite one day and noted the HDD temp. It was interesting to see how quickly the temp dropped. I would recommend that you get something that is at least that big. Is it their really untested external hard drives, internal drives that crash (as of today, I will be calling about my third one) or just their bizarre policy of "We know Check This Out
Of course it has run for a couple of days before giving out. Does this have anything to do with the fact that hard drives heat up and having two would cause my laptop to heat up faster? Hitachi drives do run extremely hot though. Go bigger I would suggest (based on price and making sure it fits) that you go ahead and get yourself a hard drive that has a bunch more room. Isn't having two hard drives better? External Hard Drive Overheating Thanks!
