Sorry, there was a problem flagging this post. Location of this is the first PHYSICAL Sector of a disk. If you can hear a regular clicking, or the drive spinning up and the powering down over and over, these are signs that it’s broken. I also have had it for over 3 years now so if it was a firmware issue it took a long time to take effect for me.
